All the information for getting to Vilanova i la Geltrú

By road

The C-32 motorway connects Vilanova i la Geltrú and Barcelona in 30 minutes and Tarragona in 40 minutes. In just 15 minutes, via the C-15, the AP-7 motorway can be reached, which to the north leads to the border with France and the rest of Europe, and to the south, to other Spanish motorways.

By train

Vilanova i la Geltrú has excellent railway connections with Barcelona and Tarragona through the local RENFE train network, Rodalies. Trains leave approximately every 15 minutes and within 40 minutes connect the town with Barcelona. 

Regional, medium and long-distance trains also stop in the town, such as the Madrid-Barcelona Regional Express.

To the south, just 40 minutes away is the AVE Camp de Tarragona station, with trains to Madrid that take just two and a half hours.

By air

Vilanova i la Geltrú is excellently located between two international airports.

Barcelona-El Prat international airport is 30 km away. From there the vast majority of airline companies operate, providing daily connections with the rest of Europe and North Africa. The airport also has intercontinental flights to North America, South America and Asia. 

Reus Airport is 50 km away from Vilanova i la Geltrú and has regular flights to Madrid and other connections with international airports, such as London and most European capitals.

By boat

Vilanova i la Geltrú has a large marina that can be accessed by boats of all sizes.
