The Sea Festival will be held on July 19, 2026 with the aim of bringing the sea, water sports and aquatic experiences closer to the public, promoting an active, healthy and sustainable use of the Vilanova i la Geltrú coastline.
The initiative aims to highlight the city's maritime heritage and encourage the discovery of the marine environment through accessible activities at affordable prices. During the day, participants will be able to enjoy kayaking, paddle surfing, diving and Big SUP, and even enjoy an aperitif to encourage socialization in a more relaxed way and in front of the sea. The entire activity will be supervised by qualified professionals and with all safety guarantees, but it will be enjoyed freely for one hour.
The meeting point will be at Plaça Trajo de Garbí, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This project is possible thanks to the collaboration of the nautical operators integrated into the Estació Nàutica / Visit Vilanova, public administrations and collaborating entities, with the aim of promoting a responsible and sustainable tourism model linked to the values of the territory.
